Since I didn’t make it to the site of the future pocket park in Midtown before demolition day, I’m cheating and using Google Maps screenshots.  I have to admit I never noticed this shingled house - the giant magnolia did a good job of hiding it.  It looks like it was connected to the structure behind it, but I have no idea when it was last occupied or who that occupant was.  Slowly but surely the residential remnants west of Peachtree Street are disappearing.  Given the benefits of the new greenspace, I’d say this wasn’t too bad of a loss.  God knows I would have liked doing some salvage work beforehand though!
