Loose Change Magazine Donor Campaign

Hey there, I know this is not your usual fare, but we are in serious need of a signal boost for this fundraiser. Can you please reblog to your followers if you don’t mind? Thank you in advance for your help!

Loose Change magazine is an Atlanta-based community literary publication that provides an outlet for both emerging and established writers, both locally and worldwide.  For the past four years, we have operated with a dedicated all-volunteer staff. We have successfully published nine quarterly issues so far, and we will release our first print anthology later this month.

We are currently raising funds to better promote, develop and fund emerging writers and artists through a second print annual, host local literary events, conduct three additional writing competitions and launch a writer in residence program.

Every single dollar donated will be matched by the City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs.

Please help support us as we continue our mission to inspire social change through the arts and literature!

A massive apartment project could soon replace most of the dilapidated bungalows occupying the south side of 11th between Juniper and Piedmont. They’re not much to look at, but they’ve long provided cheap digs for those not in the “luxury” bracket that seems to be the future of Midtown.
